Chef Bromberg is the executive chef of Garden State Food Group, which is the parent company of the The Newark Grand, Ted’s Bar & Grill and Ophelia’s café. After graduating from the esteem Culinary Institute of America, Chef Bromberg gained his fame for his creative interpretation of classic American Dishes. His resume is quite impressive doing stints with some of the most prestigious chefs in the country. His 22 years cooking started in the private sector, cooking for some of the most famous celebrities. After that he traveled the Globe which is where he made his mark with his unique American fusion concepts. His journey brought him through Asia so when he returned, he ran the sushi houses state side. He Now focuses more on his fusion concepts, which include Nigerian, Guyanese, Filipino, Indian, Italian,and American. His unique twists on his dishes are what is bringing our customers back for more. Besides the banquet menus which he will custom design, he also changes Ted’s menu quarterly to match with the season. Chef Bromberg has a crew of 9 other chefs that he cooks along side with daily. His sous chef Haleem Robinson and his other chefs combined have over 100 years’ experience.
